So much to be thankful for

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner at my mom and dad's house this year. Andy, Renae, and Ayden were there, along with my grandma and grandpa. Mom was simply over the moon to have her whole family together for the holiday.

I am most thankful this year too.

Paloma's cousin Ayden

Paloma's sweet little cousin, Ayden, is in town for Thanksgiving. Ayden is Paloma's only first cousin, and he is just over a year older than she is. He lives in Michigan and we haven't seen him since last Christmas, when he was just 5 months old and starting to scoot around on the floor. Now he's almost a year and a half old, and he is just SO GROWN UP!

Yesterday we took Ayden and Paloma to the Phoenix zoo. Ayden really seemed to love the bigger animals, like the rhinos.



And he especially enjoyed the petting zoo.

Another fun weekend in Prescott

We went up to Prescott for the weekend. It was so cold, Sweet Pea got to wear her new Christmas sweater.



And then... it snowed! (This could have been our Christmas photo, but we were still in our jammies.)



AJ loved the snow too!



But the best part of the weekend was that our dear friends Steve and Carol came down from Flagstaff to see us.

Mommy and Daddy's Biggest Fan

Our biggest fan cheered us on today as we ran the Phoenix New Times 10K. Here are some of the highlights.

Grandpa Guerin said Sweet Pea really enjoyed watching the runners go by in their colorful shirts. And she especially loved the balloons.

A New Toy!

Paloma had a wonderful time today in her new toy, the Exersaucer.

Little Miss Expressive

Paloma has become delightfully expressive in the last couple of weeks. She smiles quite a bit now, though not usually for the camera. But what really impresses us is how she can be smiling SO BIG, and suddenly, for no apparent reason, her smile turns to a frown. Where did she learn to do that?

Baby Baby

Paloma's friend, Marissa, came over with her parents for lunch today. We had a nice visit and the babies were perfect, even when we took a gazillion pictures of them. Though we tried absolutely everything to get them to smile for the camera, this was the best we could get, ...



before they gave up on us completely.
