I love lunch!

My folks came up for the day and Grandma had the pleasure of feeding Sweet Pea lunch. She gets so excited about eating. Paloma's latest mealtime phase is opening her mouth really wide and panting. It's kind of hard to describe, but unbelievably cute!

Thank you Mom for taking this picture.

Happy 5th Anniversary Mommy and Daddy G

Today is our 5th wedding anniversary. I always knew being married to Trent would be wonderful. I also knew he would be a great father. I wake up every day thankful for such a beautiful life.

Another cute hat

My friend Jenifer, the knitter, made this adorable hat for Sweet Pea (and a matching sweater!). She loves to pull it over her face and chew on the little balls.

Pretty Blue Eyes

My friend Kristen took this picture of Sweet Pea at the Heart Walk. Don't you love those beautiful blue eyes?

Yay, Team Noah!

Team Noah raised over $2,000 today for the American Heart Association. We braved the wet weather this morning for the 5K walk, and we had lots of fun. Many thanks to those who donated. And thank you Noah for inviting us to be part of your team.

Be Mine

Sweet Pea and I went down to Tucson Saturday to spend some time with my parents and to meet Kai, Michelle's new baby boy. Grandma and Grandpa Goodsell gave Paloma a big red teddy bear - her very first valentine.

Then Sweet Pea met Handsome Kai and decided he would be her valentine too.

Happy Half Birthday to Sweet Pea!

I can't believe that Paloma is 6 months old today. It's strange how the time has flown by, yet I feel like I've been a mommy forever. Haven't I said that already? The last month has been by far the most fun. She is becoming so animated and loves talking to AJ and everyone who will listen. Ooooo and ahhhh are still her favorite words, although I think she is really trying to say mama. She is also sitting up all by herself, and she's making quite an effort to crawl. She eats three solid meals a day now, which include carrots, peas, sweet potatoes, rice cereal, oatmeal, and pears. She likes to chomp on AJ's ears as well. Here's a recent picture of her sitting up. (My mom just bought her that cute outfit at Sears for ONLY 5 dollars!)
