Sweet Pea and Mimi: March 2007

Silvia!

Sweet Pea has been asking to see Silvia for weeks now, and we FINALLY had a chance to get together. We met her and her family at Chucky Cheese's for some Pizza and Fun. (Paloma was trying to show Silvia her new earrings when I took this picture.)

Sweet Pea LOVES Silvia's youngest daughter, Cathy. I'm pretty sure the feeling is mutual.

Paloma, Cathy, and Alex had fun in the giant tube thingy.

Butterflies are so cute

Trent and I took the girls to the Desert Botanical Garden yesterday to see the wild flowers and the famous Butterfly exhibit.

Mimi slept through most of it, but Sweet Pea was fascinated by the beautiful butterflies.

Each time she would get close to one, she would say "He's cute."

He is pretty cute, isn't he?

But these butterflies were cuter, in my opinion.

Paloma isn't so camera shy anymore.

She loves to review the pictures once we've taken them, and she's very into looking at herself (and her family and friends) on the blog.

Big Sis and Little Sis

Paloma is growing fonder of her little sister each day.

And Little Sis is pretty crazy about Sweet Pea as well.

Daddy's Girl

Just like her sister, Mimi loves to come visit Daddy at the gallery.

Sweet Peas

Paloma has a new friend, Piper, who is also called Sweet Pea. Piper lives just down the street from us, and we get together with her and some other friends on Fridays for a play date. Last night, Piper made first place on the "God Bless" list.

Bumbo Baby

Amelia, er ... Mimi is already able to sit up in the bumbo chair that Grandma Goodsell bought her.

Isn't this a cool new baby gadget? It even comes with a tray!

Buddies

AJ and Sweet Pea are becoming best buddies, now that there is a new baby in the house.

Grandma's little Mimi

Grandma Guerin came up with a cute nick-name for Amelia ...Mimi. I hope it sticks.

The party is over?

I'm not sure if it's official, but Amelia has slept through the night for the past 3 nights. Her last feeding is between 9:00 and 10:00, and she is sleeping until 5:30 or 6:00.

Good thing she has just about outgrown this onesie!

Double the work, double the fun

We broke down and decided to buy the double version of our jogging stroller. We now own FIVE strollers!

Daddy took the girls out for a spin as soon as he got it home yesterday. Sweet Pea was very excited to have Sister ride with her, and Amelia didn't seem to mind one bit.
