Mini Me(mi)

I'm not sure if you can tell it in this picture, but Amelia looks just like me - especially when I was a baby. I MUST scan and post one of my baby pictures.

We should have named her Pablo

For the last few days, the first thing Sweet Pea wants to do when she wakes up is paint.

Did we pick the wrong Picasso?

Sweet Pea and Eliza

These are some of the things Paloma enjoys with her best friend, Eliza.

Making bubbles

Hanging out at the gallery

Sharing ice cream

Going up to Prescott

(and acting crazy)

Certainly Amelia and Henry will become the best of friends as well
(since we've already arranged their marriage ;-)

Sisters

Sweet Pea loves to pay attention to her sister.

Hello there

Happy (belated) 3 month birthday, Mimi

We can't believe our baby girl is already 3 months old. She is such a joy!

Some of her milestones include...
sleeping through the night (beginning at about 8 weeks), smiling and giggling, and eating her hand. At her last Dr. appointment (about 2 weeks ago) she weighed 12 lbs and was 23.5 inches tall. Unlike her sister, she is still sleeping in her basinet, swaddled, in our bedroom. (Sweet Pea was in her crib at 2 weeks old.)

Easter loot

Poor Sweet Pea got mostly clothes from the Easter Bunny this year.

Oh, there's the candy!

"Auntie" Marilee gave her a cool bi-lingual memory game.

Daddy and Sweet Pea practicing their Spanish.

It looks more like Christmas!

Mimi didn't get any sweets this year. Good thing she's happy just sucking her hand.

Thanks Easter Bunny!

Somebunny loves you

(And we love somebunny too!)

Easter hike

We spent Easter up in Prescott with Grandma and Papa Guerin, and it was a very nice and relaxing weekend. We took the girls to hike Thumb Butte, which is a short (but very beautiful and fairly steep) hike.

Sweet Pea decided that she would rather play on the gate than hike.

Poor Papa had to carry her most of the way (she sat down on the dirt and threw a fit if he didn't).

Amelia slept on Daddy's chest through most of the hike.

When the hike was over, Paloma enjoyed searching for the perfect pine cones (one for her and one for her best friend, Eliza).

Eggs-cellent!

Sweet Pea had an excellent time coloring Easter eggs this year.

As you can see, she chose the Sesame Street kit.

Good Friday at the zoo

The girls and I met Noah and his mommy at the zoo today. Noah and Sweet Pea had so much fun in the giant cactus slide.

and the carousel.

The next time we see Noah he will have a baby sister too. How exciting!

Silly Girls

Sweet Pea and Mimi are being silly with Grandma.

Click on this picture to enlarge it, and look at Amelia's chubby little belly peeking out from under her shirt. Don't you just want to blow on it?

Mani-pedi

Sweet Pea is so proud of her first mani-pedi.

Here are some close-ups:

She actually has her Grandma Tucson's funny toes (no offense, Mom) :)

Happy Birthday Great Papa Tucson

We went down to Tucson on Sunday to celebrate my grandpa's 77th birthday. My grandparents were very excited to meet their new great granddaughter.

Sweet Pea and "Grandma Tucson" (That's what she calls her now, it's really cute.)
