Happy (belated) Birthday to Daddy too!

Trent had a birthday this month too. You know, someone told me recently that Leos really enjoy spending time with other Leos. What do you think? Do we have a total Daddy's girl in the making?

Daddy loved his presents from Sweet Pea and Mimi (lots of coupons for good stuff, like hugs, cuddles, etc.)

San Diego 2007

We spent a week in San Diego again this summer, and had an absolutely wonderful time. The girls were perfect, even on the drive.
They both enjoyed the beach.

Mimi mostly enjoyed the feel of the sand on her little toes.

We loved sitting on our balcony, watching the ocean,

and eating at the beach cantina.

Paloma really enjoyed Sea World this year.

And she wasn't scared at all when we rode the sky tram.

We even went to the Del Mar horse track, where Daddy won $50! It was very exciting.

Little Miss Mobility

Mimi has become quite mobile over the last week or so. She is fully crawling now, and loves to wedge herself into the most unusual places.

Sweet Pea turns 3!

We've been so busy lately with our trip to San Diego, our floor remodel, and my going back to work, that I've neglected to record some very adorable and special moments on the blog.

Sweet Pea turned 3 years old on August 4th. Here she is blowing out her candles. Daddy helped.

And eating the whole cake. (Not really! But I love this picture because you can't see her plate of cake in the background, so it really looks like she's digging into the whole cake. ha!)

Paloma is such a grown up little girl now. She amazes us every day with her amazing vocabulary and her communication skills. She is going to preschool now too. Two days a week she gets to "go to work with Mommy", where she attends preschool. We are so proud of her.
